Jim LaMarque was a clutch southpaw for the Kansas City Monarchs for over a decade and had several all star seasons. He is credited with leading the Negro American league in ERA in 1945,wins in 1947, and both in 1948.
This card is absolutely stunning with bright white borders and an amazingly sharp dark image. The front of the card is a beautiful EX-MT, but the back has a strip of thin paper loss (a common problem with this issue). Wow, this one is very nice!
