1949-50 Toleteros of Griffin Tirado. Jorge "Griffin" Tirado was an iconic Puerto Rican baseball catcher and manager, celebrated for his exceptional defensive skills and long-standing career in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Known as "Caballo De Hierro" (Iron Horse), he spent the peak of his career starring for the Ponce Leones.

The second Toleteros set in ‘49-50 expanded to 216 cards and retained the game-card concept. Measuring about 1¼" x 2¼", the cards feature black-and-white portrait photography with player names below the image. They were distributed in Puerto Rico and included numerous Negro League and Major League stars.
