1990 Rushmore IBA World All-Stars #4 Omar Linares. Linares spent 20 seasons with Pinar del Río in Cuba's National Series, compiling a career .368 batting average, the best in the league's history.
This set was issued as a multi-national “All-Stars of the World” to commemorate a world all-star game played in anticipation of baseball becoming an Olympic sport for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Players from 24 of the 68 IBA member nations participated in the game. It is a standard-size trading card set (approx. 2½" x 3½") featuring 52 cards, color player photos, team and highlight cards, simple borders, and basic stat / bio backs in English.
