1946-47 Almanaque Deportivo H-10 Terris McDuffie (Negro Leaguer). Terry McDuffie was a top Negro League ace in the early 1940s who became one of baseball’s ultimate journeymen—pitching across Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico while carrying a reputation as both a talented arm and a larger-than-life personality.

Issued in Cuba inside Almanaque Deportivo (“Sports Almanac”) magazine, these cards were printed four to a sheet on thin paper pages intended to be hand-cut and pasted into an album. This individual card measure approximately 2¾" x 3½", though uncut sheets are also collected. SGC designating this card as “trimmed” is a bit of a misnomer, since these cards were more often trimmed right down to their borders. This McDuffie is about as full and complete as you will find and absolutely does not deserve the “trimmed” designation.
