The Mexican League commemorated in this 1945 set was a summer league taking place months before the 1945-46 Cuban season. Like most cards of the era, these are paper thin and meant to be pasted into a corresponding album. Player cards measure about 1 7/8" by 2 3/4". The manager, umpire cards, owner, and in-action cards in the set were much larger than the player cards. These measure about 2 3/4" by 4 1/4".
