1950-51 Toleteros card of Bob Thurman. He was the MVP of the league in the year this card was issued, 1950-51. A legend and HOFer in Puerto Rico, Thurman finally made it to the Majors at the age of 38 and finished with 35 homers in 663 at-bats. He served in World War II and was an excellent hitter and pitcher for the great Homestead Grays teams of the 1940's.

Front of card is EX, but reverse is poor to fair due to paper loss even though this issue is blank-backed.
