1926-27 Aguilitas #752 José María Fernández, SGC A. Fernández was a true baseball lifer and Cuban HOF who deserves a spot in Cooperstown for his overall contributions to baseball both as a player and as a manager. This is a scarce card with only a dozen graded by SGC. Card is trimmed on both the left and right edges.

Issued in Cuba as inserts with Aguilitas cigarettes, this rare photographic set was part of a massive 900-card multi-subject series that included athletes, movie stars, actresses, and entertainers. The baseball subset contains roughly 37 known cards measuring about 1½" x 2?", printed on glossy photographic paper stock with black-and-white portrait images and simple player identifications below the photo.
