1949-50 Acebo of Chuck Connors. Graded a 4 by SGC. Kevin "Chuck" Connors (1921–1992) was an American actor, baseball player, and basketball player best known for starring as Lucas McCain in the classic TV western The Rifleman. Before acting, Connors was a rare two-sport professional athlete who played in both Major League Baseball and the NBA. He appeared for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Cubs, and also played basketball for the Boston Celtics. He was one of the very few athletes to play in both leagues. This is a pop 4 card at SGC and PSA combined, with none higher. This is one of the key cards in the 1949-50 Acebo set, and this is the nicest known example.

Issued in Cuba and distributed inside matchboxes, the Acebo set features approximately 115 cards measuring about 1½" x 1¾". The cards use black-and-white or sepia-toned photography with simple player identifications on the front and advertising text on the reverse and share the small-format Caribbean style popular at the time. The set includes Cuban League players, Negro Leaguers, and Major Leaguers, and like most Caribbean cards issued at the time, these are fairly scarce.
