1949-50 Toleteros of Negro Leaguer Quincy Trouppe. Graded a 3 by SGC. Quincy Trouppe was a star Negro League catcher and championship-winning manager who became one of the most traveled baseball figures of his generation, excelling in Mexico and playing a major leadership role in Puerto Rican winter league baseball during the integration era.
The second Toleteros set expanded to 216 cards and retained the game-card concept. Measuring about 1¼" x 2¼", the cards feature black-and-white portrait photography with player names below the image. They were distributed in Puerto Rico and included numerous Negro League and Major League stars.
