1946-47 Sensacion "Album de Estrellas de Las Grandes Ligas" ("Album of Major League Baseball Stars") w/ Stan Musial.

There were 2 separate albums issued in 46-47. This “Ligas Grandes” album highlights MLB players from the 1946 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the “World” Champion St. Louis Cardinals. The album features a sought-after rookie-era premium of Stan Musial. Also includes James Vernon, David Ferriss, Johnny Pesky, Howard Pollet, Ted Williams, Johnny Hopp, Dom Dimaggio, Tex Hughson, Johnny Beazley, and Tommy Holmes.

This particular album has been reinforced with the addition of extra paper added around most borders. Please see the scans before bidding. 

The Sensacion Premiums were issued in Cuba in 1946-47. These were printed on newspaper-type stock and measure about 8" by 12". However, they are often found much smaller, frequently trimmed down to the borders. Each individual “folio” was originally one uncut sheet folded into 4 premiums. This album is in its original form.
