The Sensacion Premiums “Album de Estrellas del Base Ball Cubano” ("Album of the Stars of Cuban Baseball") were issued in Cuba in 1946-47.

These were printed on newspaper-type stock and measure approximately 8" by 12". However, they are often found much smaller, frequently trimmed down to the borders. Each individual “folio” was originally one uncut sheet folded into 4 premiums.

This particular album shows extensive damage to a few panels and has been reinforced with the addition of extra paper added around most borders. Please see the scans before bidding.

The key to the set is HOFer Martín Dihigo and the rest of the album consists of Napoleón Reyes, Fermín Guerra, Gilberto Torres, Lázaro Salazar, Silvio García, Pollo Rodríguez,  Heberto Blanco, Andrés Fleitas, Cocoliso Torres, Salvador Hernández, Agapito Mayor, Tomás de la Cruz, Gilberto Valdivia, Jiqui Moreno, Regino Otero, Clary Duany, Natilla Jiménez, Tony Castaño, Saguita Hernández, Hector Rodríguez, Carlos Blanco, and Roberto Ortiz. Opportunities to purchase complete albums don't come along often, regardless of condition.
