Original team photograph of the 1957 Cuban Sugar Kings. In addition to Negro Leaguers like Pat Scantlebury, there are numerous Major Leagues on this team such as:

Nap Reyes (Manager)
Conrado Marrero (Front row, far right)
Elio Chacon (top row, 2nd from right)

But most interesting is the 3rd player from the left in the middle row. That's a 19-year old Miguel Cuellar in his rookie season in Cuba.

Two years later in 1959 he would pitch 4 innings in the Major Leagues but would not pitch in the Majors again until his rookie season of 1964.

He would go on to win 20 games 4 times and was the 1969 A.L. Cy Young award winner.
