Charleston is near the top of every HOF collector's list. There are a total of 3 different Charleston cards and only a handful of each are known to exist. This example from the popular Aguilitas issue produced in Cuba.
It shows the typical wear found on so many Cuban cards including a bughole, which automatically give the card a technical grade of 1 (SGC 10). Fortunately, this does not distract from the image of Charleston who is pictured in an Almendares hat. Other members of the 1924-25 Almendares team include HOFers Pop Lloyd and Bullet Joe Rogan as well as potential HOFers Biz Mackey and Dick Lundy.
Charleston cards are nearly impossible to come by in any condition and rarely surface for public sale or auction.
