As rare as 1923-24 Billikens are, there are probably 10 regular Billikens for every one with the elusive “La Moda” back. Any La Moda is a treasure, this one features Habana catcher Eufemio Abreu and is a decent example of this ultra-scarce type card. The card has an overall VG appearance with corner creases and some chipping/tape residue along the top edge, but there is one of the notorious Cuban bugholes in the periphery. It may not be an exaggeration to say that this card is unique as it is the only known example in the hobby.
