Lot Description

Most fans know Luke Easter for his 30 HR, 100 RBI seasons for the Cleveland Indians in the early 1950's, but Easter was a star in the Negro Leagues first, compiling a lifetime average of .336. In Puerto Rico, he won the batting title in the 1948-49 season.

This is a sharp example of the rarest and most condition-sensitive of the Puerto Rican issues. It has been graded a 40 (VG) by SGC.
