Hiram Bithorn was the first Puerto Rican to play in the Major Leagues putting in three solid seasons with the Chicago Cubs. The big right-hander had his best season in 1943 as he went 18-12 with a 2.60 ERA. If his name sounds familiar it’s because the stadium in San Juan, the sometime home of the Montreal Expos, is named for him.

This card grades good and the back is completely intact.
