Lot Description  

1949-50 Toleteros card of Negro Leaguer Tommy "Pee Wee" Butts. A 6-time all-star in the Negro League, Butts was the best defensive shortstop of the 1940's. He played for the Baltimore Elite Giants from the late 1930's through the 1940's. He hit .391 in 1940. In addition to Puerto Rico, he also played in Canada, Mexico, Cuba, and the minor leagues.
