1950-51 Toleteros card of Wilmer Fields. One of the key members of the starting rotation for the dominant Homestead Grays team of the 1940's, he went 16-1 in 1946 after serving in World War II and played on 8 championship teams in the Negro Leagues.

Fields played everywhere baseball was being played in the Western hemisphere including Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Columbia in addition to Puerto Rico. He was named league MVP 8 times in several different countries including Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Colombia. A great hitter as well as pitcher, he won the offensive triple-crown in Venezuela in 1952-53.
