The Alerta premiums are a large-format Cuban baseball photo premium set issued by the newspaper/sports publication Alerta during the late 1940s–early 1950s. These are among the most visually striking Cuban issues of the era, printed on thin semi-gloss paper stock in oversized 8" x 11" format, far larger than typical tobacco or candy cards.
