1990 IBA World 52 card set w/ Linares.
This set was issued as a multi-national “All-Stars of the World” themed baseball card release, typically produced for the U.S. retail market (often through discount chains, specialty distributors, or repack-style channels). It is a standard-size trading card set (approx. 2½" x 3½") featuring color player photos, simple borders, and basic stat/bio backs in English. Participating teams included Cuba, Nicaragua, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and Italy in Pool A; Puerto Rico, United States, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Canada, Netherlands, and Venezuela in Pool B.
In addition to Linares, the Cuban team featured Orestes Kindelán Olivares, a Cuban Baseball Hall of Famer who was regarded as the most prolific home run hitter in the history of post-revolutionary Cuban baseball.
