1950-51 Toleteros Jim Gilliam, PSA 2. This is a pop 6 card in all grades at PSA, and this example has very strong appeal for the grade.

Gilliam got his start in the Negro Leagues, won MLB ROY in 1953, and won 4 MLB World Series titles with the Dodgers. Gilliam was 40+ WAR player with over 2,000 career hits.

The standard 1950-51 Toleteros issue marked a major visual upgrade, switching to color photography and larger cards measuring roughly 1¾" x 2½". Unlike the earlier sets, these cards are blank-backed rather than game cards. The issue is especially prized for its striking photography and legendary player roster, including rare cards of Negro League stars such as Josh Gibson.
